Their service area is quite narrow though. They told me they didn’t come to my part of Silver Spring, but they referred me to Two Sisters Vets, who were amazing.

Vienna Animal Hospital - we were with them for 14 years until we had to put our girl to sleep this summer. Highly recommend!

+1 I had to take my dog to the emergency vet for surgery. I left with a hefty bill and a recommendation to see a cardiologist. When I took him to our regular vet for follow-up (Dupont) she straight up told me that it was my decision but she did not feel it was necessary and that it would be quite expensive. I appreciated that.

I don't think Union Vet Clinic is PE-owned. It's by Union Station.

Cherrydale is a fantastic clinic. I've been taking my pets to Dr. Sunny House (yes, that's her name) there for almost 20 years. The clinic isn't cheap, but Sunny has always been very straight with me about what I need to spend money on and what I don't -- she is very cost conscious and has never "sold" me anything we didn't need, and has in fact helped me save money many times. Also, she's a brilliant vet. I trust her 100% and still take my pets to Cherrydale even though I moved away from Arlington ten years ago.
