Second this recommendation
Can you share which clinic? I want to make sure to avoid this place.Anonymous wrote:We were forced to leave our favorite clinic because they began to add unnecessary procedures plus overpricing. For example, our dog developed a scary-looking condition. We rushed her to the emergency vet clinic. They immediately recognized what was going on (because it's scary looking and people freak) and treated it, no big deal, cost to us was ~$300. A friend's dog got the exact same thing. They rushed their dog to our formerly favorite clinic. That clinic ran multiple tests, kept the dog for observation, did a few procedures, and came to the same diagnosis as our dog had. Their bill? $2,000.
That's crazy and unacceptable. They're making pet ownership unaffordable for people who could really benefit from having a pet. More and more, people are foregoing pet ownership because they can't afford skyrocketing veterinary bills.

+1 I had to take my dog to the emergency vet for surgery. I left with a hefty bill and a recommendation to see a cardiologist. When I took him to our regular vet for follow-up (Dupont) she straight up told me that it was my decision but she did not feel it was necessary and that it would be quite expensive. I appreciated that.Anonymous wrote:Dupont Vet.
