Mark is fine. He’s very bright and tends to be above board but he’s not going to bring any new ideas to the table either. He hates the current mayor and they tend to fight a lot.


Given that it's been over a month since you asked OP what her unethical behavior on the PTA was, I'm going to assume OP just wanted to throw shade.

I liked that she did not state a position on the ballot initiatives. Those ballot questions are not binding and I'm glad that the potential future major will consider the results of those questions before changing laws in Rockville.

Same here..I was just going to vote for her based on the fact that there was something off-putting to me about Pierzchala (he seems kind of smarmy?). But she totally lost my vote when she refused to answer those ballot initiative questions. I ended up voting for Pierzchala, although in retrospect I should have just not voted for either.

Honestly, voting on "personality", in the sense of skills/background/approach is about all you can do for this election. There doesn't seem to be a lot of distinction in policy stance. That is why I am voting for the candidates who have the most applicable skills/experience, and seem to be able to communicate and represent themselves (and hopefully the city) capably, competently, and collaboratively. Hard to discern from what is out there, but some rise to the top....


Just curious - are you referring to Fulton when you refer to voting for skills/background/approach and seem to be able to communicate? In the first forum, she said something like "We're all saying similar messages, so vote for who you think can get it done." That comment really stuck with me and I decided to support her based on it.

These are certainly interesting characters for the elections. As a Rockville city resident, I certainly would vote with these issues in mind.
