I was at a CostCo in Florida a few years ago and watched an old guy, when done putting stuff in his car, just push the cart away from him into the lane of traffic. Like cars had to stop while the cart just ambled by, eventually into another parked car. I was like, OMG! Like okay, if you're too lazy to put the cart in the corral, but to just randomly push it away toward other cars? Wow. (And yes I'm someone who puts the cart away.)
I think in the last 10-15 years "unwritten rules" have kind of disappeared, because I'm always seeing people act in a way I would never have expected when I was younger. I honestly can't think of any former unspoken rule that I haven't seen broken in the last decade.
