They may communicate that info to admissions offices, but it would not be on the profile. You should ask to see the profile! I’m sure they’d share it. Most schools, public and private, have it on their website. Honestly it’s just basic info. AP/Honors classes offered, GPA distribution, any mention of special programs (capstone etc), counselors contact info.

DCPS numbers are downright scary. Most schools average 800-900. That’s well below the national average, meaning most of those kids are basically ready for community college, at best.

You may want to fact check me on this, but I read that nearly all DCPS students take the SAT, so those numbers are a true reflection of all students, including lower performing ones. At most schools just the college-bound students take the SAT’s and, with TO, many kids are circumventing the test altogether. So apples to oranges! (Although don’t get me wrong, that’s still a low average)

Yes - the SAT is given during the school day at all DCPS high schools so that every student takes it as a Junior and has a chance to take it as a senior as well.
My personal issue with this is if it is accepted that urban kids do better on ACT than SAT - why would DCPS not partner with ACT as opposed to giving more $$ to college board and give the ACT to all students. This could be a huge win for all (except college board)
