I did this prepandemic at lunch and loved it. I left as much as possible at work: shoes, deodorant, soap, face wash, hair brush. BUT I always saved time to quickly shower the sweat off. I couldn’t function any other way. Prepandemic i wore so little makeup that getting ready didn’t matter either. My real problem with the shower was that I had to take it before I really stopped sweating. To help I made the shower very cold. Encouraged me to get out of there quickly!

I liked working out at work. My work gym had showers so I kept a full toiletry bag, shower shoes and a hairdryer in my office. I would bring in my work out clothes and a towel at the beginning of the week and bring them home at the end of the week to wash. I also kept a pack of unscented baby wipes in my bag to wipe off if I wasn't taking a shower.

Yes. When I had to, I would work out mid-day. I'd take an hour for exercise and 15min for a shower tho (I'm super low maintenance and between being fit and, wearing decent clothes don't feel the need for hair or makeup). My work always gets way more of me than my regular day on-paper requires so no guilt. I kept shampoo, conditioners, towel, lotion, and a couple pairs of workout outfits there most of the time. In the building was only a shower, no gym. So, I ran outside or if raining, went to the back stairwell and did stairs.

But, I changed to make the commute the workout. It's a terrible commute -- annoying since closing offices meant we were shuttled to an off metro site -- and running to work or biking to and from work much easier for all the reasons.

No matter what, yes, definitely move during the day, especially since it's 3 times a week and even if it's just a stroll by an ugly freeway.

I also do it alot. I keep a full set of things I need at the office - shoes, hair dryer, makeup, toiletries. Sometimes at the start of the week, I bring in several sets of clothes so they are already there!
