Do you have any issues digesting dairy? When I eat dairy I get really bloated and retain a lot of water.

Same. But I’m anti keto and would add some fruit and whole grains in there and just lower your calories.

This is the answer. I lost 60lbs on keto and IF. However, I only consumed 30-45g of carbs a day. I only ate proteins and vegetables. Almost no carbs.

Yes. I don’t do keto anymore but I am very low carb. I switched to OMAD.
I’m the poster that wrote about the goal of the keto diet and the Keto Mojo monitor.

A little over 20 years ago I lost a lot of weight doing Atkins. Over the years I gained it all back and then some. With age I became insulin resistant and found it nearly impossible to get into ketosis. I too turned to OMAD and lost nearly 40 pounds over several months. I’m intrigued by the potential benefits of autophagy, never mind the weight loss. I’m glad to hear of your success.

I'm on keto for medical reasons, not weight loss. Have only been on it three weeks but I haven't lost weight. I'm relying heavily on meals from Factor (which are really, really good -- but I'm starting to get sick of them already).

3 pounds in 2 weeks is awesome! Stick with it. The sample day of food sounds good to me. Also it came take some time for your body to get used to it. Great job OP!

Women sometimes don't lose weight (even gain weight initially) because body reconfiguration occurs, especially bone density improvements. 14 days is NOT enough time to be fat adapted. Your choices of foods may or may not be enough to even keep ketosis, depending on your body and hormones. You seem to have eaten a lot of greens and vegetables. You don't need those. They can add up carbs also. Even so-called "net carbs" can sometimes be incorrect, and your body may actually still process them.

Seriously. The idea that this person is not hitting their weight loss goals due to overconsumption of vegetables is absurd.

No idea what went wrong. Those are all things that I eat on keto except the heavy cream.

Make sure your veggies are low carb - cauliflower, spinach, zucchini, cabbage, greens, etc. I do eat tomatoes and onions because I love them. Stay away from corn, peas, potatoes, beans, etc.

I love shrimp. Garlic butter shrimp with roasted cauliflower, spicy stir fried shrimp with mushrooms, zucchini, broccoli etc, Hard boiled eggs for quick breakfast or lunch.

Chili is good if you make it yourself so you don’t add sugar.

Chicken, lemon spinach soup.
