Nah, I had a good friend in high school named Jessica. Watch out for Matthews from both generation X and Z! They are always such jerks, but the Mikes always seem to be good guys. Too many Jennifers to stereotype...if you go to a reunion and don't recall the name and you are gen x, it may be Jen.

I have two Jessica cousins and one Jessica godsister. Although one goes by Jessie, they're all lovely people, one more sarcastic than the other two, one more crunchy than the other two, but they're all great.

This is kind of like when I became convinced that everyone who drove a Rav4 was a bad driver who never signaled.

I no longer say this but for like 4 years, every time someone cut me off on the freeway, it felt like there was an 80% chance it was a Rav4.

omg... one of the worst interactions i've ever had with another human being was with a Jessica. A neighbor who made my life hell because she was angry and neurotic.

This trouble with all Jessicas -- is there a common denominator other than that name? What could that common denominator be, OP? Maybe...you.

I'm a Jessica and I sincerely think I am an easy to like, not difficult person. I work with and know several other Jessicas too and can think of at least two that are really good people.

I don't have an issue with Jessicas- they seem to be 'on it' in terms of work/life... but Karens are always jerks. I wish that wasn't true because that name gets enough hate these days. Black Karens are normal but the white ones- even when they seem normal enough at first... I just wait for it and it happens.

Michele/Michelles can be hit or miss though.
