+1 on letting your direct supervisor know and to ask for background on the meeting - assuming you have any sort of positive relationship with your boss

This is the most likely. First they will meet with their direct reports like your boss and then they will meet with the people like you who report in to those directs, which is why your meeting is farther away. That’s the way it’s usually done in my company when a new manager starts.

No one sets a meeting 2 weeks in advance to fire people.

I would just reach out to your boss (assuming you have a good relationship) and say something like "Hey, I just got an invite for a meeting with Larla in a few weeks. Do you know what that's about?"

I'd be good money it's a "getting to know you" what do you like, what don't you like, kinda meeting.
