Patagonia has a duffle bag that can be a backpack. There are different sizes. I have this one and it is a perfect weekend/longer trip bag.

Lands End used to make a suitcase-sized bag that could be worn over the shoulder or as a backpack. They discontinued it years ago, but here it is on Poshmark:

I have the same one. Lots of travel and it's still going strong. It really holds a lot, is comfortable to wear, and has the back strap to slide over the roller-bag handle.


I have this bag too. I bought it on Prime Day four or five years ago because several women in my office had it. I commute by metro, and am on the road every other week. I keep hoping it breaks so I can justify an expensive bag, but this one just keeps on going.

NP, but wow, I really like that one. But I will confess to being a bit brand conscious (not high end, mid range). What is this one a knock off of?

This is basically a carry on suitcase, but backpack instead of roller. So you're looking for something you can pack everything in, not just a backpack for your computer and personal items. Right?

Is there a reason it needs to be a backpack instead of a roller? Any backpack that fits that description is going to be ugly because it's a suitcase on your back. Can't you just do a small roller bag for the overhead and then use your Tumi backpack as your personal item?
