So if he gets a 1200 100%, no question. In my mind, if he gets an 1150 or higher we will totally pump him up.

Because he is in DCPS he will be taking it again in October, no matter what, but I would prefer he doesn’t prep after this. I would prefer he focus on his classes.

No don't complain, you could invalidate the results for all the kids who were there.

The math section according to my kid was deceptively hard. English was “ok” but required a lot of “time management” which in his case meant guessing if after reading the question the answer didn’t immediately jump out at him. Thank god for holistic admissions!!!

This was my kid. Previously scored 800 on math. Took test today for the second time to raise English score. Said math section was harder than the last time. But had prepped independently for both reading and math the first time. This time only did English prep.

My kid took it at MVHS. At 8:10 she texted that they were waiting for one kid. (Her phone was off and away after that.) No complaints about desks. She was done by 12:20pm.

What time was your kid done?

My DS complained about the test starting 30 minutes late because students were late and the proctors waited for them. In my opinion, if you’re not there at 745, too bad, you don’t get to take it today.

DD took it at an FCPS high school. Crazy line out front. This is her third time taking it, and she took a prep class this summer. With her last two tests, she didn’t study and thought she did fine. Got an 1100.

Said there were 1-2 math problems that stumped her and that there was an additional section. Definitely felt like she left it all on the table. I’m really proud of how engaged she stayed with the studying this summer. We’ll see how much it paid off in 2 weeks.

For the actual test, I got a "fine".

For all that people are paying for this - they should have them staffed appropriately so that everyone has the same testing experience.

My son said the math was easy, breezed through it with 10 mins left. We’ll see how he does! Was his first time
