I have never done this before so not only am I not sure how to get to the venue but also not sure how to get my ticket (it will arrive on my phone? when?) or how to show it at the door (show them my phone?) but figure I will figure it out as I go.
Thanks for all the encouragement. To 15:59, I was just chatting with a coworker about how I'd read Trevor Noah's book and really liked it and if he came through my city I'd love to see if I liked his standup as much as I liked his book, and she mentioned she thought he was coming in December. So I googled his name to find his website and clicked on shows and scrolled to see if he was in my city and went from there.

Am I going to be weird for going alone? Will I be one of the only white people in a sea of black people? I never go to anything bigger than a movie, and even that's like once a year. (No, I don't get out much.)
You’re afraid of black people?

Newsflash: Trevor Noah is half-white.
