No. I have a very high prescription and I wouldn’t have been able to go if it were. I’m sure I wore my contacts

We took our then 10 and 7 year old kids there last year and didn’t feel out of place. They were pretty well behaved but we didn’t get any guff except that my 7 year old had to wear water wings which she didn’t love.

We went, with the kids, when they were 8 & 10. It was an experience and I’m happy we went. I agree with good behavior is key.

Ha, two days ago my teenager says her biggest regret about Iceland was not jumping on the balloon!

I thought it was great; looking out from the lagoon to the volcanic landscape was just so different. I did not go for the spa experience. It was also about 40 degrees and drizzly the day we went so the warm water was great.

I'm not sure I would do it again, but found the experience memorable.
