Eh, I dunno. I don't think it was a great idea for him to do it but he might have genuinely thought she was one of the many, many people who think it's not a big deal. And I wonder about OP's language here. He "admitted" it...was she trying to get the information out of him?

Marie Osmond. No idea why but I’ve liked her since her Donny & Marie days. She seems very human and has been through a lot in her life and grown stronger as a result.
I don’t plan on contacting her (lol) of which I’m sure she’s grateful!

My dad had a longstanding crush on an actress and my mom thought it was hot! It's normal. Just don't act on it.

I share celebrity crushes but not real people. Celeb crushes feel a lot more harmless.

DW had a crush on Gallagher, the comedian. When he died she was upset but I was (inside) happy and relieved.

Men it's ok as they are visual , but women shouldn't

It is normal and you should be VERY glad he admitted it to you. That means he cares about YOU and not her. That he is being vulnerable with YOU and not her. I tell you, this is a good thing.

Yes it's normal, then it is normal to avoid that person at all costs.

I used to be like you OP. No crushes until DH started becoming more distant and I felt emotionally disconnected. I developed a serious crush on a colleague. I’m slowly fading contact with the crush who no longer works with me, but I was surprised by the fact I developed a crush and the intensity of it. I was always in the camp of I would never cheat, and that conviction was seriously put to the test!

Are you paying attention to your DH in a way that satisfies him or are you taking him for granted because he’s always been there / will always be there?

Is it normal to notice that someone is prettier / smarter / richer / nicer than you? Yes.

Is it smart to talk about it? No.

I feel like it's normal. I've never cheated but recently had a crush on a coworker. She left for another job a couple months ago and the crush disappeared...I hadn't thought about her for a while until reading this thread.
