This. My college aged boys still have boys nights and everyone crashes at whatever house it started. No one is risking driving after a night of hanging out.

My college kid's friends just came to visit for a weekend. It's not a sleep over, it's a visit.

My mom is in her 70s and once a year all her high school friends gather and "sleep over" at someone's house. The host plans a weekend of food and activities, which also includes sitting around in pjs drinking coffee.

This didn't happen when they all had small children in the house, but once they were all empty nesters they picked it up!

So, I'd say never

IME yes. They often just crash where they are.

Oh, yes, at 18 the sleepovers are coed! Fun!

I probably had the most sleepovers from 17-19yo. Alochol, sneaking out, fake IDs, the good old days!

Actually both! We do meet up at our parents old houses sometimes.

Its fine if kids are visiting and friends come over and stay but grown kids living at home and having sleepovers is strange, unless there is a separate guesthouse.
