Who cares what people on DCUM think? 220k is a solid income, if you have your health, a loving family then you have much to be thankful for. I make 700k but I am struggling with my weight and some health issues, I would switch to 220k and excellent health in a heartbeat.

This life is short, it’s a beautiful thing and not a pi$&ing contest, enjoy your family and your life. To hell with what people think or where you are in a class system.

Our HHI is around 200-220k and yes I would say it’s definitely lower middle class for DCUM. DCUM skews on the higher end for sure. It’s not lower middle class in the country. It’s all relative.

Also, I don’t think a lot of people lie about money on DCUM. It’s one of the few places where they can freely talk about money, wealth, and net worth.

My numbers were for a family of four. I have no idea where the pp got the number $182k but it’s way too high.

Depends if it’s one earner or two and how much you g hh age in mortgage, loans, etc. it’s solidify middle class with two earners. With no loans or childcare, could be lower UMC.
