We had a huge 4 king BR/BA suites with a living room, full kitchen, bar counter, dining table & w/d, with a cool view of the Sphere for about $1500 per night. It’s not luxurious like many others but if space is a premium and great location also. Pool looked decent - again, not Las Vegas luxurious.

We stayed at Elara in a much smaller suite- one king bedroom, full living room with sofa beds, full kitchen and huge bathrooms- bonus, room had projection screen and projector, which kids loved. This was a couple years ago, but think room was under $300 per night. Very comfortable, great views (we were on 50th floor), would highly recommend. Elara isn’t your hotel if you want to be pampered, but the rooms are huge and so comfortable- they are more like condos than hotel rooms.

One of my tweens says the Venetian is his favorite hotel of all the places we have ever stayed in any city/country.

Honestly Vegas has so many nice hotels, I’d recommend just finding one in the location and price range you prefer. You really can’t go wrong.

We had a huge suite at the Mirage. Great pool!

My family loved The Venetian. Nice big room, great view, location and pools.

Why do you feel Vegas isn't family friendly? Outside of the actually gaming floor, a couple of clubs, families everywhere and plenty of kid friendly activities. Just stay and any of the big strip properties and you will be fine. We stay and 4S you get all of the Mandalay amenities plus a separate private smaller pool.
