If you walk down to Hell's Kitchen there are much better eating options that won't be full of tourists.

b side pizza is so good. Also throwing my hat in for Kashkaval Garden, fondue is so much fun. 44x10's lunch menu is a dream.

Also, OP, check out Xi'an Famous Foods for inexpensive and fairly authentic cuisine/fast casual setting. Not in the Theater District but a few around Manhattan. Brooklyn Bagel is my favorite bagel of all time. I order both on Goldbelly 3-4 times a year to get my fix.

Dang - I miss living in Hell's Kitchen!
