It is a stones throw from lots of really cheap apts going down the hill towards maple Ave. few blocks off the pawn shop charm off New Hampshire.

Agree. It looks like there was some work done recently that is rather low quality or hasty. It was probably done for the sale, but my guess is that it needs a lot of work, and these days, that's expensive. If it is listed for 650, and needs 150, that is a lot for a small house on that street. But they might get it given how hot Takoma Park is and how tight this market is. Notwithstanding being on a busy street, it is a good area in that it is an easy walk to the Co-Op and other stuff up at the junction.
