Look at Francesca's. I like the AE suggestion as well. It really shouldn't be too hard to find things -- she's small, but not small enough to be relegated to the kids section. I worked at Altar'd State and we had plenty that would have fit her nicely (didn't think to recommend that store because the three stores in the area all closed -- there might still be one open in Leesburg though).

Yep, hear ya. 14 yo, 5'4", 90lbs.
Aeropostle jeans in 00. They also carry 000. and different lengths if your DD is taller/shorter.

Dresses are tough - just look around. When they are skinny enough for my DD, they are way too short. Just need a few dresses - try dept strores like Macys/nordstrom, Kohls.

Also try different depts - like XXL in kids or XS in women.

Sometimes, we buy what has good length and then sew the waste to make it fit, like for pants, or even sew any openings in the front of dresses. If you find a really good dress, can get it altered.

One thing I haven’t seen mentioned is to make sure you have a good tailor. If your DD falls in love with a dress the right tailor can really help make it fit perfectly.

DD is 5'6" and weighs 105. She has great luck with surf brands that seem to be cut for a long and lean body: Roxy, Billabong, O'Neill, etc. She also loves Faherty but that's a sale only brand for me. Madewell jeans in 23 or 24 (they often have those sizes in their sale jeans), and dresses tops from there too, usually in XXS. Activewear from aerie and free people movement.

My DD is 13, 5’3” and 85lbs. It’s hard to find clothes for her. We look for clothes in Europe during vacations, buy size 23 jeans with 32” inseam and occasionally are able to find clothes that fit in sizes XXS or 00 (that tends to be athlesure, which is not her thing). Lululemon size 0 works, but she only wears it to sports.

My DD is shorter and weighs less and can find things at PacSun, Levis (size 23), Nordstrom BP (she likes Roxy, O'Neill and the BP brand), Aerie/American Eagle, Hollister and of course, Lululemon. XXS or XS is usually available

I’m guess I’m thankful mine is into athletic wear.

Well this is the teen forum too, so people are writing with that age in mind

I'm one of the posters who suggested it. For my 11 year old? No. But OP was asking fora 14 year old, so not a tween but a teen.

That seems like a pretty normal size? Pretty much any brand aimed at that age group will work.

They have a lot of styles, not all are cropped. Plus many girls wear high rise pants with them. Many of the shirts fit a smaller shorter girl like a regular shirt….quality is also really good for the price and a lot of it is actually rather basic and classic.

But I don’t care about crop tops in school as we don’t have a dress code.

Brandy will be too big, especially the pants. Just FYI. Lots of cute top options though.
