Check out the footage of what it was like at FedEx this evening. DC is just not a good outdoor concert town.
+1
We really wanted to go, she is so great in concert, but we just could not chance the weather.

As opposed to all those other towns where it rains? I love when people act like WEATHER is unique to DC. did you happen to see the footage of the Taylor swift pouring rain concert? She was delayed for hours.

The DC Metro area, including extended areas of MD, VA, WV. Is that not obvious on a site called DCUM?
That’s not how weather systems work. Small areas get impacted severely.
Huh? Are you drinking?
There's no way to pinpoint exact neighborhoods that may have microbursts. The whole greater region is at risk tomorrow.
From WV to Rehoboth… omg run to your bunkers!
Clearly last weekend's storm wasn't anything for you. You didn't lose power, and no trees fell on your car or house, like they did in DC, Arlington, and Alexandria. Maybe you'll get some of the action this time--keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks for the map, 11:27.
No one can predict in advance who will get a microburst. All you can do is trim your trees regularly, and not go walking too far away from a building on Monday afternoon/evening. Which for me means timing the dog walks appropriately.

I’m getting migraine and am trying to be proactive now; caffeine, meds and magnesium stat.
