We are seeing Chelsea at West Ham and wanted Away Section tickets - which we were able to find here. Fingers crossed!


A lot of West.Ham fans are really sound people. However, they have a firm, Inter City Firm that's been known to be violent. In 2016, there was a huge fight at the West Ham v Chelsea match at the London Stadium. Riot police had to come into the stadium.

I'd advise wearing neutral colors, no Chelsea tops. If you do end up sitting in the home supporters section do not, DO NOT, cheer for Chelsea. Sit on your hands and be quiet. Maybe even clap for West Ham. You'll likely be sussed out as Chelsea fans but, as I said, a lot of West Ham supporters are good people. As long as you are quiet and don't cheer for Chelsea in the home sections you'll likely be left alone.

Where in the UK are you going to be? Obviously if you are in London, your chances of having multiple game options might provide better odds depending on teams. But as others have said, tickets generally should be accessible if you are willing to pay for them. And most clubs have special packages that might provide a more inclusive overall experience, but will likewise be expensive. Will just say to be mindful of who is playing, what section you are sitting in, and what you are wearing with re: to team colors.

many clubs now have formal ticket exchanges where season ticket holders can resell their tickets to other "ticket club members". You can get a membership for free or only a token amount and then buy through the exchanges.

We were in Spain the same time, doing the same thing! I tried to become a Madrid fan club member, but that route did not lead to tickets. Ended up using Stubhub successfully but it was a total rip off. Multiple web sites map the stadium out differently, so when we bought very expensive tickets we got them for ridiculously bad seats in a section worse than we expected. Stubhub was no help and I'll never use them again. It would have been cheaper to get VIP tickets early on than use Stubhub later.

The Real Madrid stadium was amazing as was the crowd but the game was a snoozer.

Purchased both PL tickets and La Liga tickets recently. Had good experience buying directly from West Ham for PL (hear many stories about not buying from resellers) and West Ham enabled us to buy directly from the site and buy 5 tickets (which we needed as a family of 5, many clubs limit to 2-4). As far as La Liga goes, we went to Madrid and had a horrible time trying to buy tickets directly through clubs from America (or even from Europe with an American credit card) so we ended up using StubHub to get Getafe tickets instead of Real Madrid. It was a great experience third row right behind the goal and all 5 tickets cost what one ticket to Real Madrid would have cost.

Ive had a great experience with the capital city blues Man City supporters club here in DC. nice folks. Watch parties at the Ugly Mug in Capitol Hill. and got tickets allocated through them for an upcoming match. I've also heard you can use stub hub international for secondary market tix. I've seen tickets offered for sale through the main club's CityZens supporters group as well. I had no problems signing up. Maybe try again and brace yourself for too much communication re: merch offers, contests, squad updates for men and women, etc.
