Loved him as a kid and was sad to hear about his passing. Thanks to the pp above who mentioned the misremembering part. I was too guilty of that and it makes me sad. A great lesson for all of us.

My Boomer mom introduced me to PeeWee as a kid when he was a frequent guest on The Tonight Show. Then I became huge fan of PeeWee’s Playhouse, as did my own kids when they were little. (Watched on DVDs) He had wide appeal. Really loved him a lot.
