Dawn soap and then pat dry with a towel. Don't want to use a soap that leaves residue

I don't use papers due to tree fibers. Use cotton instead

I use paper towels because I have to pay for laundry. It’s all a balance I guess…$$, trees, water, energy…

PP may be referring to tree fibers scratching not environmental concerns

I like the spray I got from Kaiser when i bought my glasses there. They also sell tissues- like material that come in boxes -- its a no-liquid cleaning tissue -- and I bought several of tho boxes. the opticians there use them and they work really well.

Doesn’t anyone else use the commercial sprays?

Before cleaning, rinse glasses under water to eliminate any dirt, dust, etc. that could cause scratches during the cleaning process. I also clean with Dawn and warm water, wait for them to air dry, and use a microfiber cloth to remove water residue. Agree with others to not use paper towels bc they scratch the glass.

+1. New eyeglass lenses stay nice and clean and clear for a period of time, and then after that time ends, you can never get them completely clean and clear again.
