When doctors fill out the death certificate they have to enter cause of death. Yes it is our opinion, but we won’t pull something out of the air. You have to be damn sure or you will get in trouble, but I’m sure others are less careful. Medical examiner then takes a look and determines whether a post mortem is needed. If there’s a chance that there was something unnatural, accidental or intentional, the ME will order an autopsy. Three young solders dead in a car would emphatically trigger an order by the ME.

I’m curious how this happened to. My understanding is that they were parked outside at some kind of gas station. How did they get overcome by CM?
