I am a bedwetting liberal and I think it's because they have drank the gender Kool Aid on this and are going out of their way to 'hold space' for all of their child's potential future gender options.

It comes off as pandering but after their plantation wedding appology in '12, I am sure they feel they can no longer be too careful.
