I have very curly and somewhat frizzy hair. I used to do Japanese straightening but eventually grew it out (awful!) and then didn’t want to go back to the chemicals or deal with growing it out again.
Now I use the Dyson Airwrap on wet hair and then run a flat iron quickly through it. I wash my hair every other day. The whole drying/flat iron process takes 10-15 min total and my hair looks better than when I get it blown out at the salon. I always use heat protectant. My hair stylist says my hair is not damaged at all.
My old routine (before the Dyson) took a lot longer, probably 25-30 min, and needed more heat. My hair was damaged from it even with heat protectant.
I’m interested in the new Dyson straightener but my routine works so well I don’t see forking over more $$$ for the newest device. If I didn’t have the airwrap already, I’d probably splurge on the new tool.

I found them to be very safe way to permanently straighten hair.
It saves me HOURS AND HOURS of time each week to wake up with perfectly straight hair.
I highly recommend the process. My hair is very healthy. Using since 2004 (when I started working as an attorney and could afford it!).

I’ve been straightening my hair since 2004 - my hair is very thick and I have a lot of it - so it take the process very well. I get “Yuko” done - honestly, my hair looks healthier with the process since it isn’t a frizzy curly mess.
Most people don’t know I have naturally curly hair since I wear my hair long (mid back) and it’s always been straight.

Yep- at Nordstrom. I have a lot of medium thick very frizzy wavey Mediterranean hair. It works great.
Can someone post the link? I never know what stains I should look at. There’s the blow dryer, the air wrap, etc. I have very thick frizzy wavy Mediterranean hair as well.
