Which brand? Is there a Kirkland brand?

I buy La Colombe Nizza beans at Wegmans, where the 24 oz pack sells for $19.99.

I started buying these beans through the mail during the pandemic and I really enjoy them.

La Colombe used to have regular sales through email (25% off, bogo, etc.) but now they seem to be pushing subscriptions (which ive resisted). Whole Foods will sometimes have them on sale but then stock is an issue.

I hated grinding beans until I got the basic Cuisinart burr grinder. It has been getting the job done for 5+ years and you should be able to buy it at Target or Amazon for less than $70.

+1, mine is more than 10 years old and still gets it done.

We have beans shipped from Birds and Beans. They get their beans from shade-grown coffee, which is better for wildlife including birds because the farmers don't clear cut the rainforest to plant rows of nonnative coffee trees. The Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center did a lot of research and then started a certification program. It's also organic and fair trade, and not $17 a bag.

Sorry for the shameless plug, I knew the Smithsonian researcher who headed the Center.

They do take a week or so to ship, though.

We have a mini Cuisinart bean grinder. Basic (there's just 1 button -"on") and it's lasted years and going strong.

Weird Brothers Coffee.
They are a specialty roaster... but I only pay $18 for a 16oz bag. (And with the freq buyer card, get a free bag after 6).

I either pick up Zeke's at the farmers market or mail order from Deans Beans

I buy the beans from Ceremony at the shop itself. I also like the beans from Blank Street.

I get my beans from a subscription company, drinktrade.com. Here’s my referral link if you want to get a free bag to try it out (full disclosure I get a free bag too) http://s.trdcfe.me/6t8Dmm I like that I can select different flavor profiles like dark roast, chocolatey/nutty, and then the best part is I get shipped to me fresh just-roasted beans from small coffee shops across the country. I’ve never even been to Portland, Austin, etc., but I feel like I’ve been transported and tried the coffee. I learned about it on Oprah’s Christmas gift list a few years ago and got it for me and my husband and 3 years later it’s my fave of my subscriptions.

I used to mail order from Peet's, but now Costco carries the same beans I used to buy for half the price. So, Costco.
