They go on the bookshelf unless they suck, then I donate them.

Rarely. But I will pass them on my kids or other family to read. Sometimes I leaf through them to get ideas/inspiration (I like to write). I only keep the book that I enjoyed. My bookshelves are very meaningful to me.
