7am, or I just heard him and it is 650am. He just turned 12. Not sure when this sleeping in thing is going to catch on.

This. She’s staying up too late OP. Mine are lights out by 10 in summer and wake-up by 8:30, sometimes earlier. No camps for the whole summer also would not work for me.

My nearly 13 yo girl just started “sleeping in” this summer until 8 if left alone. Prior to this she’s been up at 6 daily for the entire time since she started sleeping through the night. I’ll take the miracle of 8.

I’m with the poster who is more worried about bedtime. I try for 11 pm on most nites.

Ours sleep until 10-noon most days. I see no point to waking them up. At least they are getting plenty of sleep.

Same, usually one weekend day is up pretty early, the other he sleeps until 9:30 or so

Screens are off at 9pm for these boys. Ages 15 and 14. They can stay up and read if they want. The early riser is often asleep by 9:15pm. The other one ranges from 9:45pm to 11pm.

6:15. Every morning. No alarm. Very occasionally she sleeps “late” which means 7. She has always been an early riser.
