DP - I normally am someone who reads this forum for a good 🙄 , I appreciate learning this. I’ve always been suspicious of all the “pods” that supposedly just “dissolve.”

Don’t need that in my septic.

So thank you, genuinely.

Most articles that have done actual testing show that none of the laundry sheets perform well for removing stains and odors. On top of that they are significantly more expensive than powders, liquids, and pods. I wanted to love laundry sheets but they dont really work and end up costing more.

I use Nellie’s laundry detergent. I have the 400 load container from Costco. It’s in a 5 gallon container but you only use a tablespoon a load so I’ll have it for about 2 years for my family of 5.

I love using Clean People laundry sheets. I'd give them 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Works great, fast and free shipping, easy to use, death to single use plastics. And they have a BOGO Promo going too making it a great deal: https://www.getcleanpeople.com/product/fresh-clean-laundry-detergent/?qmid=CPBOGO

You could make your own lye soap if you wanted. Enviro friendly, and great for boiled washings.

Has anyone tried washing their clothes with vinegar? Does it work? Do the clothes smell like vinegar afterwards? I have read a few times now that this is the most eco-friendly option.
