T. White is awful, but Allen and Nadueu are worse.

The balance of power is shifting from the Allen wing of the Council to Pinto and Parker, as exemplified by the crime bill that was just passed. Pinto took an unpalatable Bowser crime bill and crafted something the Council would pass almost unanimously. Parker very publicly said "we need to stop taking orders from activists who don't even live in DC and start taking orders from our residents," and his support of the bill was crucial. Parker's comments also were seen as a rebuke toward Allen, Nadeau and Janeece, who pretty clearly take their marching orders from whatever progressive think tank is in favor that week.

Your rankings make little sense to me, but perhaps the most egregious ranking is your placement of Anita Bonds, a stuffed shirt whose only job seems to be to funnel ever more taxpayer money to Fort Myer Construction Company.

What are your rankings?

Top: Henderson, Gray, Mendo
Middle: Frumin, Parker (truly, too early to tell for both but I've been encouraged so far so I'm putting them in the middle for now), Pinto, Allen, R. White
Lower: McDuffie, Lewis George, Nadeau
Scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel: Bonds, T. White

Got it.

Really? I’ve heard mixed things about him but I’m glad you’ve had a good experience.

Agreed.

I think Henderson is the future of the city, with White, Lewis George and Frumin at the top.

Pinto is a bit of a stuffed shirt and didn't really earn her seat.

I agree with the sentiment about Bonds and White simply isn't up to the task. It isn't like there aren't a ton of smart, capable replacements in Ward 8 there are.

What about McDuffie, Nadeau, Trayon White?

Good list

Frumin has been unimpressive so far. He even made noises about voting against the crime bill before constituents weighed in. Would not vote for him again.

Mendo seems old and whiney, he, Bonds and Gray should retire.

Frumin is a complete disappointment. But, to be fair, they are a largely unimpressive bunch who would stand a hard time getting gainful employment outside of elected office.
