His presidential term began in 1952. It ended in 1960.

A Gen X-er who was not alive during this time but can read history. And traveled to his farm in Gettysburg so that obviously makes me an expert in all things Ike.
He may have been elected in 1952, but his presidential term did not begin until 1953. And it ended in 1961.

He was elected to first term in 1952,. 2nd term in 1956. He died in 1969! Ignorance is s not bliss!
