Our teen coaches are will paid and it's competitive to get the job

125 kids including pre team. One head coach, one assistant coach and 5 Jr. Coaches. And about a miilion parents on the pool deck who think they can coach better. Ugh!

Large team with one head coach and four assistants. We also have a few high-school seniors as junior coaches to help out with our pre team and 8U.

They are being paid. Don’t know how much. Everything is kept secret. But I have heard some rumblings that some of those in water coaches rarely show up, but still get paid. It may be a small amount, but can still add up. They keep 2-3 per lane for our 8U group, times 6 lanes.

1 head coach, 1 assistant head coach, 4 junior coaches (high school seniors or college age)

We also have a dozen or so volunteer pre-team helpers

I think there’s about 160-180 kids on the team, not including pre-team. The coaches manage it well.
