Stars actually has to do it on the field. All the boosterism on these threads isn't going to get it done.
It's good marketing, for sure, and maybe a new parent dropping in could get influenced. A more fulsome look at track records of the respective clubs high school age teams' performance, historical ranking, recruiting, etc. would be a better approach for those considering which club to join.

In my experience with travel soccer, “by Wednesday morning” could mean anything from Monday night to three weeks from now…
