No, he's always had a temper, and he's always been an impulsive talker, and apt to get his words confused. However, this also goes with sufficient diplomatic knowhow and political acumen to make him surmount those personality flaws!

My mother is like this, and has been that way since I can remember. There's no dementia, but definitely people need to get used to her ways.

Just a few years ago, this article (and others like it) ran about Trump's use of profanity. Apparently his followers like it.

This was pretty well known during the Obama administration. He’s always been kind of a prick in meetings.

We really should just start a master list of things Republicans cannot complain about in a president after everything Trump did/does.

Personality flaw is number one.

I don’t love it. But of all the things to be angry about, people coming to brief him on policy matters who don’t have all the facts at their fingertips would be the most understandable. Imagine - a president who expects his staff to know stuff and holds them accountable. Amazing!

He does appear to have loyal staff unlike Trump who seems to have built a cottage industry for staff who write tell all books.
