Then I went to S. Italy and had olive oil there and now all I want is olive oil.

OMG I am so hooked. Leaving Sorrento, I picked up a little bottle of it and I just love the flavor so much. I know there are a lot of brands out there from Italy. What are brand suggestions to try for that wonderful olive flavor?

We love Paesano. We are originally from the Mediterranean region. You can find it at Whole Foods.

Look for Single Source, First Cold-Pressed

Try wine shops. Wine importers will bring in somebolive oil from wineries who trees, and bottles of the first pressing are sometimes available. ...and it's not as expensive as I'm making that sound.

Also the Italian Store in Arlington.

An olive oil expert told me that you should taste the olive oil plain, a teaspoonful. If it isn’t mild, buttery, and delicious it’s garbage and quite likely adulterated.

What is the brand and do you buy direct or amazon?

I wrote the brand-California Olive ranch. I actually get it shipped from Walmart because it’s the best price there.

I only buy my olive oil from here. Specifically the bundle bc it's more economical. I do not buy any grocery store or wholesale club oils.
