I mean, we do it, but our kid (now 16) has never liked it.

Do your kids like to go for a drive locally? Like if you said hey kids let’s drive up to the Shenandoah and look at some mountains would they say yay or nay?
Op here. Yes, that is something they do enjoy. They like road tripping, car rides, exploration generally.
