The fishes episode I just had to fast forward through. So tedious.

Only thing I don't like is that there are too many cooks in the kitchen (pun intended). The show sets up a number of interesting characters, but doesn't have the bandwidth to explore their backstories and do them justice.
I feel like all of season 2 is them exploring people's backstories no?
Yes, this is what made season 2 so strong imo.
You got a little of Carmen, Natalie, and Ritchie. Less so Sydney. Barely scratched the surface of Marcus, Tina, Ebraheim, and Neil. I found it dissatisfying.

YES the second season is better. I liked the first season but i LOVE the second.
Thanks! I'll give it a shot.
No you won’t like it. It’s chaos. Dialogue on top of dialogue.
If you don’t like that style you won’t like s2
Op - agree that the style is the same but it is better with deeper storytelling and some of the episodes are f-ing SO good.
My favorite so far is the one about Cuzin. Tho Jamie Lee Curtis must win an Emmy for her one.
I thought season one was ok but season two is amazing
