If it's not an isolated incident, that will become apparent (he'll regularly be biting himself in the same place, or they'll identify a kid in the class who's a biter) and then you can deal. This one, let go.

Wow I didn't even think to examine it like this! Thanks. My DS' mark is a bit confusing because there is something that resembles a lip on the thumb side and then a thinner arc on the other. I'm guessing the lip like thing is the top teeth but I can't be sure.
