a colleague in Jacksonville mentioned he knows ppl that are living in their parents basement, broke, but manage/prioritize 3 Disney trips a year. it's bonkers. what else is there to see? why the frequent visits?

I’ve landed on child loss tik tok somehow. It started because I’d like/comment on videos people share of their children who died. Like my heart just breaks so much for them and I understand why they’re trying to keep their child alive somehow through videos. But it’s become too much. I need to somehow get myself out of this algorithm. Which makes me feel guilty because these parents can’t just unsubscribe from their grief.

Yes, I too have seen a few ultra-Orthodox videos and found them fascinating. I grew up with Mennonites so less so there. They never seemed all that different from anyone else except they dress in a plain way and keep to their own communities, schools, and jobs. Some of them are quite wealthy but you wouldn’t know it.
