I dated someone with a micropenis, and it was a dealbreaker. I just waited until I found other reasons to break up with him. Don’t listen to the well-intentioned pp who said there’s nothing to treat.

When you make the appointment, ask the receptionist how to get a written message to the doctor ahead of time. Write a *short* note to the doctor ahead of time explaining that a micropenis is your main concern, but you want to use euphemisms in front of your son, or meet separately. You’re not the first person to want to avoid body shaming, and the doctor does this every day. He’ll know how to handle it. ( I know most doctors are female, but so try to take him to a fit for this particular appointment.)

It’s going to be even worse for him romantically if he’s gay! Women are usually more tolerant of that

No they’re not. Plenty of men are “growers,” but that doesn’t affect sex/reproduction. A true micropenis is maybe 1-2 inches when erect, which is a serious issue.

I think this is good advice. I'd just tell your son he is going to endocrinologist to see if puberty is on track. When you make the appointment you could ask the receptionist how does the doctor work with children in cases of microphallus. What do they say. Etc. You might even be able to book a consultation appointment over zoom to discuss with doctor before you go into the office.

It could’ve been, but sometimes it’s just genetics/luck. I dated a guy who said he was 5’6”, but probably was really 5’4”. He was large. Another guy I dated 5’10”, but tiny feet (men size 7), also was large. Two tallest guys I dated (one with big feet) were tiny.

Nobody’s body is perfect. If question why you want to “fix” this and what’s going to be good enough for you.
