Why do lucky people have no empathy for those that are naturally and rightfully uncomfortable with being given the less fortunate spot in life? Have some humility and empathy for your sister. You are lucky and rich! She is not! Of course she is sad and upset!

I am the one with the always jealous sister.

She will whine to me and to other people about things being “unfair”.

She will tell me over and over how lucky I am. E.g. “you are so lucky your house is so small. With so many rooms it’s hard to keep the toys picked up!”

She will demand that another family member “fix” the unfairness. E.g. “Dad, it’s not fair you took her kids to the ballgame without mine! You need to plan something where hers are left out.”
