I don’t know if we’re wealthy, probably not, but I think good detergent is worth it. Along with good dish soap and dishwashing liquid.
We use Tide or Persil.

Me too! I hate the smell of detergent, air fresheners, chemical junk. And it actually makes my husband physically ill!

Clean, good hygiene. Unscented laundry detergent for sure/no strong laundry scent of regular Tide or whatever. But if you’re wearing deodorant with a subtle scent, and hair product with a subtle scent, and you have fresh breath, and maybe used a body lotion with a small amount of scent at night … you’ll probably smell pretty good, if subtle. Fresh but not like you’ve doused yourself in perfume.
