Op here. I have small children and I work full time. One of my kids has profound special needs and has a ton of doctor and therapy appointments.
I avail myself of daycare, therapies, etc for my children so I can work.
Work also mandated return to office, 3 days a week.
We don’t really take any precautions besides washing hands frequently. It just feels like a lost cause.

This cold or flu or whatever started as a sore throat, then sneezing and nose blowing, achy and tired, then the cough, kept getting worse, turned into pneumonia, been on antibiotics and steroids for 5 days and am just starting to feel it start to go away. Still feeling weak and tired and sick. I'll take covid any day.
I don't understand how OP could have covid at least twice and still be wondering if maybe Paxlovid might help.
