I have seen the angst of some posters here about the "changing landscape" in college admissions. While I know this thread is not about college admissions, would you not be proud of your kids making MILLIONS of dollars of the NIL? Especially if your kids were not accepted to T-25 schools?

Some have said they "look so old". I guess 6.5 million followers plus don't think that way.

Good for all these kids making real, honest money doing these things. I don't think I could have done it back when I was in college,

And to those that crap on recruited athletes, I truly believe you do not understand the potential for these kids to have enormous paydays for their work.

If I was offered a guaranteed $50 million contract after my Junior year in college, I would jump at it.

This isn’t new. Good looking women athletes have always gotten more endorsements even if they aren’t the best at their sports.

People like looking at pretty blondes in bikinis. Brand new information. Good for the twins for making it work for them.

I think the story— which even the twins apparently agree with— is that blonde college women who are mediocre athletes can make a lot of money trading on their sex appeal (including the idea of a threesome with the twins), far out of proportion to their athletic accomplishments.

Maybe that is a man bites dog story that society values women athletes as much for being blonde as for being good but it’s not like it’s a made up story.

It's odd the article didn't mention Olivia Dunne from LSU. She is the top female NIL earner with $3.2 million.

The crazy thing is to top two in revenue from NIL deals is Bronny James ($7.6 million) and Arch Manning ($3.7 million). Neither one of them have even played a single game in college.

Literally the sentence before the information you cite is:

This seems like the author had a premise that they really liked and decided to write a story. The specifics don't work at all- the twins are former players, they aren't actually the highest earning women's college basketball player, they aren't the highest earning former women's basketball player (or even close)- but who lets facts get in the way of a good story.
