It is not a strong team. They haven't won a game yet this year.
OP, you should look at the top half of the top teams in EDP/NL -- and call them (but avoid Calvert because they are monsters-- truly terrible people). Here's the list:

^might be one of the most helpful posts on DCUM in recent times. Honest question: Why are so many of the strong teams in Baltimore? Or NoVa? What is wrong with the system in MoCo?

runrmom wrote:Ok. I have emailed and talked to multiple coaches from multiple local teams. I think the problem is that DD is right in between a top top team and a second team. She has not had the coaching and maybe not the skill for the top top teams but is not challenged in practice and gets frustrated in games on lower teams. The second problem is that options in MontCo are very limited at that level and we can’t drive more than 30 min on a weeknight for practices. So we have tried all of the clubs within 30 min and she has not landed on a “great” fit yet. I think we will stay where we are for now and look for guest options with other teams. I will also say that coaches are busy, and getting a response is hit and miss. I don’t sell my DD as the next Chloe Ricketts, but rather try to be honest about her development. Thanks to all for insights.
