MCPS even offers a Shared Housing form that is easy to fill out.
MCPS doesn’t have the staff to investigate any of these cases, so plenty of people do it and get away with it.
Staff will come to your house. Each high school has a staff member whose job is to investigate questionable enrollment.
Having known acquaintances and friends whose kids did not live in-bounds for the school they attended (it happened at two different Bethesda-area clusters, not Blair), I can assure you that no staff member came and knocked on their door. If the school has good reason to believe the student does not live in-bounds, they might follow up. Or not, depending on how harried they are by other things.
Just keep a low profile, OP.

You are always guaranteed your home school. However, they try to give the kids their 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice of school. So if your target school is not your home school, you can put that as your first choice but make sure your home school is your 2nd choice, if you want to avoid missing out on the home school as an option altogether.
