I've had that sticky stuff on the car for weeks. I assumed it was from the trees that I park under. But definitely not from the wildfire smoke which just got here.

It’s honeydew from insects on trees.

We haven’t had rain, so there’s nothing to rinse the sap out of the trees.

The just talked about the bad air quality on the news but they said nothing about the brown dust/sap.

Ive noticed the same thing! What are those weird little dots?!? I doubt its sap bc I dont park under a tree.

I’ve lived here my whole life and have never had this happen until this year. I’ve washed my car more this spring than the whole time I’ve owned it. Little sticky drops like others have said. Very strange.
