I think it’s a totally fair question (not a “gotcha” by any means) and would tell us a lot about that person. It would be particularly relevant with Haley, given her experience with the South Carolina state flag.
You do know she *removed* the Confederate flag from the SC capitol building - right?
And then years later she still thinks it represents heritage and not hate. It’s always been about hate.
