More people are moving out of hcol like CA and NY and moving to cheaper places like FL. To Californians, FL is cheap. To long time Floridians, it's now too expensive.

If money was no object, more people would live in LA than Miami. Most people don't care that much about politics. They care more about great weather and interesting places.
